About

ABOUT ME

With over 20 years experience in college counseling and college admissions, I have guided hundreds of students and families through the college search and admissions process.

I began my counseling career at Baldwin-Wallace University as an Admissions Counselor and later as Assistant Director of Admission. I left BW to pursue my Master’s degree full-time at Bowling Green State University. While at BGSU, I taught two independent sections of Intro to Speech Communication. Upon completion of my degree, I moved to Columbus and began working in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions & First Year Experience at The Ohio State University. In 2008, I left OSU for the opportunity to counsel students from the high school side of the admissions process at Columbus School for Girls. I served as the Associate Director of College Counseling for 5 years and for 8.5 years I served as the Director, before returning to college admissions in 2022.

Committed to my professional organizations, I have served on state and national committees and presented at professional conferences. Additionally, I have served as a member of the Inclusion, Access, & Success Committee of the Ohio Association for College Admission Counseling since 2004. I have two sons (Classes of 2031 and 2032) in the Olentangy Local School District.

This package includes individualized planning sessions, academic course planning and standardized testing recommendations, resume development, strategic college list development and discussion, college visit and interview preparation, application guidance and review, personal essay brainstorming, guidance and review, review financial feasibility and provide direction with need and merit based options. For students intending to participate in collegiate athletics, provide comprehensive guidance on all aspects of the process.
